Dog Gets Protection
From Wichita Judge

A Sedgwick County judge yesterday
issued a protection from abuse order
that bars a man from having any
contact with a miniature dachshund
he is accused of attacking with an ax.

The order prevents Jeffery Kwist,
48, from having contact
with "a dog named Weenie."

Kwist's bond was set at
$10,000 He faces a single
count of cruelty to animals.

Wichita police said Weenie
was attacked Saturday
afternoon in the 1500 block
of South Hydraulic.

Police said the dog was
treated at an emergency
veterinary clinic and is
recovering at home.

    Help Wanted in Finding Two Hutchinson Men Who Jumped Bond | Print |

    ImageHUTCHINSON -- Rewards are being offered for information leading to the arrest of two long-time Hutchinson residents who have jumped bond in criminal cases.

    Kelly Andrade, 22, is wanted for failure to appear in District Judge Richard Rome's court on three counts of probation violation. He was placed on probation after being convicted of drug charges.

    Andrade is a Hispanic male, 6-1, and weighs 280 pounds. He has a tattoo that says "ANDRADE" and runs down his right forearm. He claimed to be living with his mother, who is deaf, on West Sherman at the time he bonded out. His bond was cosigned by his sister, Adriana Andrade.

    Anyone with information on Andrade should call 9-1-1 or M&M Bonding at (620) 200-1442.Image

    Also on the run is Patrick M. McCroy, a 20-year-old white male with closely shaved brown hair and hazel-colored eyes.

    5-8 and weighs about 200 pounds. He has the words "100 % Wood" tattooed across the knuckles of both hands and a large tattoo on his chest.Image

    McCrory is out on bond with at least two bonding companies involving different cases. In the most recent case, he faces charges of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Obstruction, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Pararphernalia.

    Anyone with information on McCroy should call M&M Bonding at (620) 200-1442, or Lowen Bonding at (620) 727-5076. Rewards are offered for information leading to his arrest.

    Both men face possible prison terms and should be considered dangerous.

     Caught, Arrested by Hutchinson Police Officers

    A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a Hutchinson man, Raymond Thomas Kimball, who failed to appear in court. There are two active warrants seeking his arrest, and bail-bond agents and bounty hunters are also looking for him.Image

    Kimball, 21, is a white male with short blondish/reddish hair and a goatee. He is 5-7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has a tattoo of praying hands on his left shoulder. He was last seen near 7th and Elm in Hutchinson and has been known to stay  with friends and/or relatives in the Regency Mobile Home Park at 1707 East Blanchard, off U.S. 50, southeast of Hutchinson.

    Anyone with information can call 620-200-1442. A reward is being offered.

    Man Wanted on Burglary, Theft Charges On Run | Print |

    Allen Ray Stovall
    HUTCHINSON -- Allen Stovall was arrested and bonded out in September 2007. He is charged in Reno County District Court with Burglary and Theft and in South Hutchinson Municipal Court with Contempt of Court. There are warrants out for his arrest.

    He is 5-10, 158 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

    When arrested, he was living in the 100-block of West 8th Street in Hutchinson.

    His surety bond application was cosigned by Melissa Roberts, 30, who was living in an apartment at 416 E. 1st in Hutchinson. A relative said Stovall and Roberts left Hutchinson together.

    They are believed to be traveling in a 2006 silver/pewter-colored Saturn.

    The Effort is offering a reward for information that leads to Stovall's arrest.
